SUMMER RUNNING PROGRAM

Gahr High School Summer Series 2-Mile rRace

Good Afternoon --

We are all getting in pretty good shape building our base getting ready for our season. It is time to test ourselves. We will be going to a fun 2-mile Cross Country race at Gahr High School this Thursday afternoon. Here is the information:

When:  Thursday, 8/12/10, registration at 4:30 PM, first race at 6:00 PM

Where:  Gahr High School. 11111 Artesia Blvd.; Cerritos, CA 90703.

Directions: North on I-405 to north I-605 to Alondra Blvd. Go east to Studebaker Road. Go south to Artesia and the campus.

Entry Fee: $5

Parking Permit for Thursdays at Crystal Cove

The parking fee is waived for our cross country team on Thursdays at Crystal Cove State Park. In order to park there free, each driver will need to carry a copy of the this parking permit with him/her on Thursdays. Click HERE for the parking permit.

LEAGUE FINALS

BECKMAN WINS THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!

The starting time for the first race of the day at tomorrow's PCL League Finals has been changed back to 1:00 PM. So, the races are as follows:

CLUSTER MEET #2

There is no school on Friday, 10/30/2009, for the students so we will have our workout Friday morning at 8:00 AM at Cedar Grove Park (by Pioneer Middle School).

On Saturday we will have a morning workout at 8:00 AM meeting at the entrance to Irvine Regional Park (where our League Finals are held next week).

These are critical workouts in preparation for the League Finals on 11/5. Everyone needs to show up. Thanks.

We will be leaving for Clovis, this Friday, October 9th,at 1:30pm, directly after lunch at Beckman.  All runners should have everything with them at that time including their Varsity running uniforms, warm ups and shoes.  Please only bring one regular size duffle bag!
